Partners in life, art, and spontaneous trail detours. We’re a photo and video duo based in Colorado who help wildly-in-love couples craft elopements that feel grounded, effortless, and fully you.

Our work isn’t about stiff poses or following a trend. It’s about capturing your love as it exists - in the quiet, in the laughter, in the wind on the ridge and the snacks at the trailhead. We’re here to help plan a day you’ll actually enjoy, then document it in a way that feels honest, cinematic, and full of heart.

Whether you're eloping with your dog at sunrise or slow dancing in a cozy Airbnb at sunset, we’ll be right there - camera in hand, stoked out of our minds, ready to help you remember what it felt like.

We’re the water bugs. The people saying “howdy” to every person we pass on a trail. A cartwheel in a mountain meadow vibe.

When we’re not out frolicking, you can find us delving into other art forms such as songwriting (Roo!) or stained glass art (Mal!). We spend as much time outside as we can especially alongside our sidekick pup, Reina.

We stand for a lot but we’ve really boiled it down to these four pillars which are our guide in everything we do here at Castlehouse.

  • Love is at the heart of everything we do! It’s why elopements matter so much to us. They’re epic, intentional celebrations where couples get to focus on what really matters: each other!

    When we document your day, we’re not just capturing what it looked like, we’re holding space for what it felt like.

    The goofy, the quiet, the natural connection. That’s the kind of love we’re here for! The real kind. The kind you’ll want to remember, again and again.

  • We care a lot about keeping things real— because that’s where trust and connection start. When you invite us into your elopement, you’re not just hiring vendors; you’re letting people into one of the most meaningful days of your life. And we don’t take that lightly.

    Our hope is that by the time your day arrives, we feel like old friends! That only happens when we show up as ourselves and give you space to do the same.

    Whether we’re chatting logistics or sharing a trailhead laugh, our goal is to create an experience where you feel seen, comfortable, and totally free to be you!

  • Joy is at the center of everything we do. It’s what makes elopements so special. The laughter, the happy tears, the little moments that remind you this is your day, and it gets to feel good.

    From the first call to the final frame, we want this to feel easy, fun, and genuinely you!

    We love what we do, and we hope that shows in how we show up: with energy, care, and a deep excitement to celebrate alongside you. When we create from a place of joy, it has a way of showing up in the work (y’all seen our photos?!) and spreading far beyond the day itself!

  • What does adventure mean to you? For us, it’s less about how far you go and more about how present you are when you get there. Whether it’s hiking to an alpine lake, snowshoeing through fresh powder, or just exploring a quiet trail near your Airbnb, adventure is about choosing something a little off-script and a lot more you!

    We see elopements as an adventure in every sense: bold, intimate, unpredictable, and deeply meaningful. And we’re here for all of it! However your version shows up. Because when you choose a day that reflects your spirit, the photos and films don’t just look beautiful, they feel like a journey you’ll never forget!
